ETS offers California LEAs video Student Score Reports (SSRs) for purchase for the 2025–26 test administration of CAASPP and ELPAC. Watch the video SSR in action!

Why Purchase the Videos?

CAASPP: Videos for Smarter Balanced Summative Assessments for English language arts/literacy (ELA) and mathematics offer information on overall scores, targeted claims, writing extended responses, historical scores, comparisons to state and school averages, Lexile and Quantile scores, and customized resources for families.

Summative ELPAC and New Initial ELPAC: The Summative ELPAC and new Initial ELPAC videos offer

• explanations on the domains and performance areas, and
• customized resources that LEAs can use to guide families to resources that assist students and parents/guardians in understanding the student’s ELPAC score results.

What Is Changing for the 2025–26 Video SSRs?

CAASPP video SSRs will

• use the new Smarter Balanced achievement level descriptors (ALDs) to provide clearer insights for parents/guardians, and
• include two years of historical data to help track progress (where available).

Both CAASPP and ELPAC video SSRs

• are available within a few days after SSRs are produced;
• are accessed via links provided to participating student information system vendors and appear in student and parent portals next to the PDF version of the SSR;
• are available in English, Spanish, Mandarin, and Vietnamese (additional languages are available with translated subtitles in Arabic, Armenian, Farsi, Punjabi, Russian, and Tagalog); and
• have embedded links at the end of the videos that can be customized by your LEA.
