ELPAC: The Results Are In—Now What? New Module Available
Email Update, October 7, 2025
Dear California Educator:
The English Language Proficiency Assessments for California (ELPAC): The Results Are In—Now What? instructional module series has a new module available on the Moodle Training Site (Moodle).
This training series is created for educators—including classroom teachers, coaches, teachers on special assignment, administrators, and support staff—who play a role in supporting high-quality classroom instruction for English learner (EL) students. The virtual workshop modules are designed for local facilitation in small teams but are also accessible as stand-alone learning experiences. The new module will answer the essential question, “How can educators use ELPAC data within a professional learning community process to improve teaching and learning for EL students?” The modules include video clips, student work, and reflections from the implementation of these practices with EL students.
Moodle requires educators to create an account if they have not previously used Moodle. Enrollment keys are not required, and educators are able to self-enroll in the module courses. After creating an account and logging on, select the ELPAC: Modules link.
For more information about the virtual training series, contact the ELPAC Project Team by phone at 916-228-2682 or by email at elpac@scoe.net.
Direct any questions about Moodle to SCOE Moodle Support at moodlesupport@scoe.net.
Direct any questions about ELPAC to your local educational agency (LEA) ELPAC coordinator or site ELPAC coordinator. For more support options, LEA coordinators may visit the Contact Us web page.
Sincerely,
California Outreach Team
