CAASPP and ELPAC: Updates to Supported Operating Systems and Secure Browsers for 2024–25

Dear LEA CAASPP Coordinator, LEA ELPAC Coordinator, or Technology Coordinator:
Operating systems and secure browsers supported for 2024–25 CAASPP and ELPAC testing were updated as of July 3, 2024. All expiring desktop and mobile secure browser versions will continue to receive formal support through October 31, 2024.
Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems will require the desktop secure browser version 17 for all CAASPP and ELPAC computer-based test administrations. ChromeOS and iPadOS will continue to use secure browser version 8.
The tables that follow list the changes in operating systems, secure browsers, and associated software that are supported for 2024–25 testing.
