The California Department of Education invites you to attend the Interim and Formative Assessment (IFA) Webinar Series. Registration for fall sessions is now available!
This free professional learning opportunity consists of live webinars focused on the interim and formative assessment components of the California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP) and the English Language Proficiency Assessments for California (ELPAC) assessment systems.
This informative series is designed for teachers, instructional coaches, and educators on special assignment, but local educational agency test coordinators and administrators may also find this training useful to further support educators.
IFA Webinar Series
There are three independent webinars focused on using the interim and formative assessment components of the CAASPP and ELPAC assessment systems to inform teaching and learning.
Webinar 1: Formative Assessment and Tools for Teachers
- Date: Tuesday, September 15, 2026
- Time: 2 to 4 p.m.
Webinar 2: CAASPP and ELPAC Interim Assessments
- Date: Thursday, September 17, 2026
- Time: 2 to 4 p.m.
Webinar 3: Educator Panel and Shared Practices
- Date: Tuesday, September 22, 2026
- Time: 2 to 3:30 p.m.
