Unscheduled System Maintenance: July and August 2025

Email Update, July 31, 2025

Dear LEA CAASPP Coordinator or LEA ELPAC Coordinator,

The Completion Status System will be unavailable from 5 p.m. on Thursday, July 31, 2025, to 8 a.m. on Tuesday, August 5, 2025. This outage was not included in the 2025–26 Planned System Downtimes email announcement and is not currently noted on the System Downtime Schedule web page.

During this time, daily files and updates will not be processed, resulting in the following updates being delayed until after the downtime:

• New student additions and updates
• Test settings updates
• Scoring for Initial ELPAC and Initial Alternate ELPAC
• Student demographics and organization updates submitted via CALPADS

Additionally, during the downtime, LEAs will not be able to file STAIRS cases for the Initial ELPAC or Initial Alternate ELPAC.

When the systems resume, reports for 2024–25 will no longer be available in the Completion Status System for any assessments. Please download any reports that your LEA or school sites need prior to the downtime.

File processing and updates will resume once the system becomes available on August 5, 2025. TOMS reports from the 2024–25 should be downloaded prior to the downtime.
