Register now! Supporting Students with Interim Assessments—Shared Practices Webinar Series
Email Update, July 18, 2024
Dear California Educators:
Are you wondering how you can use CAASPP and ELPAC interim assessments to help your students?
Whether you are an administrator or a classroom teacher, and whether you are new to or experienced with the state-provided interim assessments, this webinar series will provide great ideas for you to promote these resources locally or use in the classroom.
Registration is now open for the Supporting Students with Interim Assessments—Shared Practices Webinar Series. This webinar series—consisting of three independent webinars presented by the CDE in collaboration with California educators—is intended for all local educational agency staff, namely administrators and classroom teachers.
Join members of the CDE, classroom teachers, and administrators as they share how they are promoting and using state-provided interim assessments to support teaching and learning in the classroom. Each webinar in the series will focus on a different set of interim assessments, including those for Smarter Balanced English language arts/literacy (ELA) and mathematics, the English Language Proficiency Assessments for California (ELPAC), and the California Science Test (CAST). In addition, each webinar will include question-and-answer time.
The following session dates are available:
- Smarter Balanced ELA and Mathematics Tuesday, September 17, 2024, 3:30 to 5:00 p.m.
- ELPAC Tuesday, September 24, 2024, 3:30 to 5:00 p.m.
- CAST Tuesday, October 1, 2024, 3:30 to 5:00 p.m.
Register now! We hope to see you there!
Materials Only Option: If you cannot attend the live webinar but still wish to be notified of the availability of session recordings and receive the session materials (i.e., slides and any associated handouts), please complete this Training Materials Notifications form instead of registering.
