ELPAC: Deadline to Complete Remaining STAIRS Cases
Email Update, April 3, 2025
Dear LEA ELPAC Coordinator:
ETS recommends that all LEAs complete any remaining Security and Test Administration Incident Reporting System (STAIRS) cases at least one week prior to the end of the Summative ELPAC administration window. What follows are the recommended guidelines:
- If you are submitting any Reset, Reopen, or Grace Period Extension Appeals during the final week of the test administration, ensure you allow ample time for the student or students to complete testing.
- Any requests for Restore Appeals submitted to ETS during the final week of the Summative ELPAC administration may not be granted if there is not enough time to process the demographic change.
- Please reach out to your assigned LEA Success Agent prior to submitting Reset Appeals for any test or domain with the intention to Restore.
Incorrect SSID Used cases submitted for a one-way or two-way swap must be confirmed in the "Notes" section of the submitted case by the submitter or LEA ELPAC coordinator prior to the end of the Summative ELPAC administration window. Please note that any cases that are not confirmed in the "Notes" section of the submitted case may result in a Reset Appeal for the incorrect SSID.
